A Heartfelt Thanks-for-Giving
Thanksgiving is a time to gather with loved ones, share a meal, and reflect on the blessings in our lives. At Loaves and Fishes of Sabattus, it’s also a time to extend our mission of compassion, helping to ensure that no family in our community goes without. This year, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our volunteers, we were able to make Thanksgiving extra special for our neighbors.
A Community That Cares
Our Thanksgiving distribution was a true reflection of the Sabattus community’s heart. We provided small hams, roasting hens, turkeys, a number of sides, desserts, and extras to families, helping them celebrate the holiday with the comfort and dignity they deserve. This effort wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of so many people and organizations.
We extend a special Thanks-for-Giving to the Prince of Peace Parish for their generous donations of Thanksgiving food. Your contributions brought smiles to so many faces this holiday season.
We are equally grateful to the other community organizations that stepped up to donate turkeys, as well as our gracious neighbors who thoughtfully gave pantry items to ensure our shelves were stocked. Every donation—whether big or small—helped make a difference for families in need.
